What do our employees receive?
We have a structured training program for all our employees. All staff receive a staff induction and manual, First Aid training, NPTC level awards in Chainsaw use and tree climbing as well as regular aerial rescue refresher sessions.
Paul joined us in 2014. Starting off as a grounds person Paul has shown a keen interest in developing his skills and learning.
We have sent Paul to Capel Manor college to gain his Tree surgery qualification:
To date Paul has achieved NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council) units, 30 (chainsaw maintenance),31 (small tree felling) , 38 (aerial rescue) and 39 (using a chainsaw from a rope and harness).
Paul has also looked to develop his skills by attending workshops and other study sessions.
As with all employees Paul attends regular Wednesday morning toolbox talks and Tom encourage’s an atmosphere where everyone can be inquisitive and reflective about all aspects of the job.
